Crémant is a traditional product from one of the eight authorized production regions of France (Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Die, Jura, Limoux, Loire, Savoie). The expression “Crémant” – like “Champagne” – can only be used for quality sparkling white or rosé wines with a protected designation of origin (PDO). In addition to being produced using the traditional method, they must adhere to very strict production methods. The tasting profile is introduced by a pale gold color with fine bubbles, followed by very fresh aromas of pear, apple, peach or apricot and the occasional notes of dried fruits, white flowers or brioche.
